MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD<\/h2>

The minimum rental period is 1 day (24h). Delays longer than 1 hour will be charged 1 day extra rental.<\/p>

PAYMENT<\/h2>

Payment will always be made upon delivery of the vehicle.<\/p>

DRIVING LICENSE<\/h2>

A valid driver’s license in Portugal is required.<\/p>

MINIMUM AGE<\/h2>

21 years old, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.<\/p>

FUEL<\/h2>

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel they had on the date of delivery. The missing fuel will be charged to the client.<\/p>

MOTORCYCLES<\/h2>
  • Obligatory deposit of 200\u20ac<\/li>
  • The motorcycle is covered against third-party liability.<\/li>
  • The occupants ride under their own responsibility.<\/li>
  • In Portuguese law the insurers do not cover the occupants of the motorcycle.<\/li>
  • Optional insurance for tires, 10 \u20ac\/day.<\/li><\/ul>

    GENERAL INFORMATION<\/h2>

    Prices include VAT, mandatory liability insurance, maintenance, 24h travel assistance, CDW, SCDW.<\/p>

    Prices do not include parking charges, fines, fuel, clutch damage, lost documents (250\u20ac) and keys (300\u20ac).
    Minimum deposit scdw 100.00\u20ac (Gr A, B, BA, C and CA), minimum deposit scdw 500.00\u20ac (Gr M and Q).
    Minimum deposit 800.00\u20ac (A, B, C, D and E), minimum deposit 1500.00\u20ac (F and G).<\/p>

    The customer will always be responsible for all damage caused to third parties or the rented vehicle whenever it:<\/p>

    • Is driven by a person who is not legally qualified or authorized by CHARME RENT<\/strong><\/em> ;<\/li>
    • Suffer damage caused intentionally by the client, negligence or misuse;<\/li>
    • Is driven by a person under the influence of alcohol, drugs or suffering from mental insanity;<\/li>
    • Is used in sporting events, races, rallies, challenges, contests, etc;<\/li>
    • Suffer an accident and the same is not communicated to CHARME RENT<\/strong><\/em> as soon as possible;<\/li>
    • Suffer acts of vandalism such as broken windows, burst tires or damaged rims.<\/li><\/ul>

      The lack of communication or late communication constitutes for the client the obligation to compensate CHARME RENT<\/strong><\/em> for all resulting expenses.<\/p>

      The customer is responsible for all road violations committed.<\/p>

      • In case of burst tire(s) without insurance contract, 150\u20ac;<\/li>
      • No smoking in the car, 100\u20ac;<\/li>
      • Supplement airport service, 15\u20ac;<\/li>
      • Out of hours from 18.00 to 08.00 additional cost 30 \u20ac.<\/li><\/ul>

        WARNINGS<\/h2>

        In case of accident you should call the authorities (112).
        Call ambulance if there are injured.
        Contact CHARME RENT<\/strong><\/em> (if you don’t do it you are responsible for all damages in the car).<\/p>

        Obtain from the other drivers involved:
        – Name, address and phone number
        – Driver’s license number, date and place of issue
        – Make, model and license plate number of the other vehicles
        – Insurance policy and insurance company<\/p>
